CULTURE NIGHT!!CULTURE NIGHT IS JSUT AROUND THE CORNER! This SATURDAY, May 12th to be exact! We are currently in the middle of our hell week practices and would like to thank everyone for their hard work and support thus far! Saturday, May 12th will be a night to remember! Bring friends, family, strangers, pets(not really), and everyone you know to this! Tickets are on sale now for $9 UCI and $12 non-UCI, you can purchase them from any board officer or at the booth throughout the week. Boothing!As mentioned above, we will be selling CULTURE NIGHT TICKETS ($9 for UCI students, $12 for general admission) MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK FROM 12 -3 PM. On TUESDAY and THURSDAY, we will be boothing along RING ROAD, and on WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY, will be boothing at Student Center Terrace. N-N-N-N-Ninjas!If you are interested in becoming a NINJA for this year's Culture Night, it's not too late! What exactly IS a ninja, you ask? Well, a ninja is basically a backstage hand who helps with changing the props on stage for the different scenes of skit. Date Night! (Thursday Afterevent)This week's afterevent is Date Night. Come relax after a stressful week of midterms and Hell Week practices with dinner and a movie. Capture the Flag!Happy May! And get ready for this week's after event, Capture the Flag! But because of midterms, quizzes, and projects, I invite you to read Chak's oh-so-funny little blurb about CTF and appeared in this week's newsletter: "Two sides, one ring to rule them all. Well, not really. It's more like EIGHT FLAGS TO RULE THEM ALL HAHAHAH. Come check out this week's afterevent, CTF! Each team will choose two tributes to fight to the death over pieces of colored clothes. Once those tributes have fallen, another two will be sent and the game continues until one team no longer has any more man power. Actually that's the Hunger Games version, but it would be cool if it were real :P If you have never played CTF before, it is a game of wit, agility, finesse, beauty.........nah just kidding, but you will have to think on your feet! The main goal for each team is to capture the opposing side's flags while keeping all of their's safe. However, team members can be taken as prisoners by the opposite team during battle :O. We all just want to have fun so don't worry if your not the best athlete, I know I'm not T.T. CADC has been the defending champions for TEN consecutive years! Come cheer on CADC for their 11th All-Cal championship! Afterwards, the venue will become a clubbing dance floor! You can buy tickets for just $15 from any CA board officer or at the booth at Humanities Plaza this week on THURSDAY! Limited rides will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Semi-Formal!Semi-Formal is a night at the end of Spring Quarter that holds special significance and value for many members of CA. Along with being able to dress up in formal attire and hang out with all of your friends from CA, you will also be able to watch as the board officers of 2011 - 2012 say their goodbyes and the board officers of 2012 - 2013 are welcomed in. EXCITING, right?! Well, the great thing about Semi-Formal is that YOU get to help plan the entertainment for the night and the decorations for the venue! Semi-Formal meetings are on FRIDAYS in the DR. WHITE ROOM from 5-6 PM. This year's Semi-Formal venue is SEACLIFF COUNTRY CLUB in Huntington Beach, and the theme is...SOUTHERN SOIREE! Relay for Life!Relay for Life is an annual event on campus during which clubs on come together to celebrate the victories over cancer, to remember the loved ones lost, and to fight back by taking action to save lives. This year, Relay for Life will be from April 28th - 29th (which also happens to be a certain webmaster's birthday =P), starting from 12 pm on April 28th and ending at 12 pm on April 29th. BON(D) FIRE!!Yes, you read right, this week's afterevent will be a bon(d) fire (see what I did there? =p) at Corona Del Mar Beach! Come out and chill with old friends, meet new friends, make some s’mores, and just have a good’ol jolly time at the beach with CA! Feel free to bring instruments and the sort to jam with the rest of us! Also, be sure to dress warmly as it does get quite chilly at the beach at night despite however hot it may have been during the day. EASTER EGG HUNT!!Guess what? This week’s afterevent is none other than our traditional EASTER EGG HUNT! If by chance you have read about this in the CA Newsletter, all I can say is, I don’t know where Anna comes up with that stuff. However, you WILL be wandering about Aldrich gathering eggs that will be worth points, or to trade in for quests and sorts that are worth even more points! But beware of hunters who will be lurking in the shadows waiting to catch your group and steal your eggs :O! A tutorial video, made by our very own CA Film Crew, will be shown during this week’s meeting to clarify details of this game. Also, check out our promo video from last week in the link below! DOWNTOWN DISNEY SCAVENGER HUNT!!
Hey you! Yeah, you! Love anything and everything Disney? WELL, even if you don't, come out to this week's afterevent, DTD Scavenger Hunt! As the title suggests, CA will be partaking in a massive scavenger hunt throughout Downtown Disney. Put your sleuthing skills to the test as we ask you and your team members to hunt down answers and take pictures throughout the plaza. It'll be a night full of fun, meeting new people, and DELICIOUS beignets, so why would you not come out?! And since it's only week 1, you guys can't use homework or studying as an excuse! :P

Easter Egg Hunt!Next week’s after-event will be Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny will be visiting UCI this
weekend and as usual will be leaving a bunch of Easter Eggs in the park. However, UCI has a
very strict policy on littering. As an act of kindness, the board members of CA will be helping
clean the Easter Bunny’s mess. But we will need your help to do it! What can you do with the
eggs you ask? A variety of things of course! The eggs you collect can be counted as points
towards a prize at the end of the event :O However, you can also trade the eggs in for even more
points! You will have to locate these secret game masters throughout the park and trade with
them. Be warned, these points do come at a cost! Hunters will also be roaming the park to collect
evidence of the Easter Bunny’s mischief. Come out next week and see what surprises are in
store!
